Renting Short Term VS Hotels - Which is better for me?

If you need a place to stay for up to a week, it's hard to beat a hotel or motel, but if you need to have lodging for more than a couple of weeks or are not travelling alone, a short term rental might be a better bet. Add up the cost for the room, meal expenses 2-3 times a day, and the crowded feeling you can get after a week living in one or two rooms, and compare that to having your own private, clean, neat apartment or house and - well, you get the point. The monthly rent for most short term rentals is less than that for a single room in a hotel or motel for half as long.
